Asad is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan having nearly twelve years of diversified professional experience in strategy, corporate finance, business advisory, audit, accounting and taxation services.

He has previously been associated with A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants (a member firm of PwC). His professional experience includes strategic planning, transaction advisory, financial and operational due diligences, financial analysis, business risk assessment and management, business process optimization, training and capacity building, financial audits, forensic audits, procurement audits, fixed assets management, policies and procedures development, corporate governance and taxation services.

He has been engaged in providing services to various local and multinational clients in a variety of industries including energy and natural resources, power, manufacturing, construction, trading, telecommunication, stock exchanges, real estate investment trust management, microfinance, information technology, health, education, hospitality, professional service providers, marketing, electronic media and various government/ non-government not for profit organizations.

He also serves as managing partner of Asad Ijaz & Co. Chartered Accountants (an emerging chartered accountant firm) and holds positions on the advisory boards of various business ventures.
