Tahir is a PhD scholar from United States of America having over 26 years of professional experience in forensic accounting, forensic auditing, fraud examination and investigation, anti- money laundering laws, financial audits, financial and management accounting, taxation and business advisory services.

He started his career as a financial consultant and has also been engaged by various organizations for designing business units and corporate strategy, business valuations, contract vetting, human resource consulting, internal controls advisory and secretarial services.

He is a founder member of the Institute of Forensic Accountants of Pakistan, member of the Institute of Public Accountants Australia, associate member of the Institute of Financial Accountants UK, associate member of Institute of Certified Financial Consultants Canada, fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Managers of Pakistan and fellow member of the Institute of Taxation Management of Pakistan. He is also registered as Income Tax Practitioner with Federal board of Revenue.
